✔ West condensers are all made of premium G3.3 boroslicate glass, heavy wall design,durable and reusable. 

✔ It is designed with standard taper joint at top and bottom,and two glass hose connections connecting the inner tube through which coolant flows,the lower hose used for coolant inlet,and the higher hose used for coolant outlet. 

✔ A West condenser is a thinner version of the Liebig condenser, with narrow annular space that allows for the increased flow rate of water to provide high cooling efficiency. 

✔ It consists of an inner straight tube surrounded by an outer jacket tube, the cool water flows through the outer jacket from bottom to top to condensate the vapor in the inner tube. The fused-on narrower coolant jacket may render more efficient cooling with respect to coolant consumption. 

✔ A west condenser can be both used in a reflux and a laboratory apparatus. In the reflux apparatus, just as the graham condenser, Dimroth condenser, coiled condenser, Liebig condenser does, it works with round bottom flask, drying tube, separatory funnel or additional funnel. In the laboratory apparatus,it used to condense the vapr into liquid and drip to a receiving flask with a take-off adapter.
